What government-funded childcare is available
Eligible working parents can now access up to 30 hours a week of funded childcare for children aged from 9 months up to school age.
For 2-year-olds, from April 2024 there is access to 15 hours a week for working parents, as part of the childcare expansion.
For 3– and 4-year-olds: there is a universal 15 hour entitlement, and working parents may also qualify for the additional 15 hours (making up to 30 hours total) if eligible.
